About Me
I’m Rami Pinku, a product leader with twenty years building software products and teams, across a wide enough range of industries to know what transfers and what doesn’t.
Some of that record in concrete terms: at Dalet I ran a global R&D organization of 100+ engineers as Deputy GM, held CISO-level responsibility for security and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001), and cut AWS infrastructure costs 38% without touching performance. At Spot by NetApp, I recovered a high-risk churn account by closing the product gaps that were driving it, which turned into a 20% ARR increase. I’m currently at JFrog leading AI governance product work: model security, ML-BOM generation, and enterprise control across the AI model lifecycle. JDD comes directly out of that work.
I write about leadership, product management, and the way technology changes how teams work. Lately most of that has converged on one question: what happens to engineering organizations when AI makes execution cheap. The short version: judgment becomes the bottleneck, and most teams aren’t structured for that.
Beyond Work
I live in Be’er Sheva, a city that keeps reminding me that innovation doesn’t require being near the center of things. Outside of work I spend time with my family, read, cook, and dig into history, particularly the Second World War and the early days of computing and software. Understanding how people built and rebuilt the world in the past helps me make better decisions about what we build today.
